Butler Lake in North Kettle Moraine State Forest is a typical kettle lake eroded by melting glaciers over 10,000 years ago. It is located along the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive in the North Kettle Moraine State Forest. The Ice Age Trail dissects the parking lot, so if you feel like a little hike or a 1,000 mile hike, feel free to pick either distance or one in between.
