Traveling Ted is a blog that takes readers along on my adventures hiking, canoeing, skiing, and international backpacking. Many blogs focus on one aspect of backpacking, but I tackle both the outdoor adventure side and international exploration as well.

Butler Lake Wisconsin

Butler Lake reflecting clouds in North Kettle Moraine State Forest

Butler Lake in North Kettle Moraine State Forest is a typical kettle lake eroded by melting glaciers over 10,000 years ago. It is located along the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive in the North Kettle Moraine State Forest.  The Ice Age Trail dissects the parking lot, so if you feel like a little hike or a 1,000 mile hike, feel free to pick either distance or one in between.

The goal of Traveling Ted is to inspire people to outdoor adventure travel and then provide tips on where and how to go.
