When you are riding on the back of a couple ton elephant, and it wants a snack, you do not fool around. You do not throw it and have him chase after it, you dont’ switch it from hand-to-hand, no you just offer. On an adventure out in the country close to Chiang Mai, Thailand, they gave me a batch of bananas to start with, but my ride quickly dispatched it. As soon as I was out ,the trunk came back anyway. Fortunately, they had a stand with a lady in it selling bananas and singha. After a pit stop there, we were both happy.

While it was a unique and somewhat interesting experience, it was quite overrated and not very comfortable.
