Vultures on the Hillsborough River in Florida

While canoeing the Hillsborough River near Tampa, Florida, we looked up in the trees to see a group of vultures huddling up on this unusual cold day in the 40s. It was a beautiful contrast with the brilliant blue sky in the background with a dead tree, Spanish moss and the carnivorous vultures waiting for their next meal to die. The Hillsborough River State Park is a great place for an adventure with several miles of great canoeing and hiking.
