Traveling Ted is a blog that takes readers along on my adventures hiking, canoeing, skiing, and international backpacking. Many blogs focus on one aspect of backpacking, but I tackle both the outdoor adventure side and international exploration as well.

Cooling off in a Thai Waterfall

One of the hottest days I have ever experienced was going from Suphanburi through Kanchanaburi to Lam Klong Ngu National Park near the border with Myanmar. I was being taken there by a family I had met stateside who lived in Thailand. They had a coffee and rubber tree farm right outside the national park. Each time we stopped I became woozy from the heat. I have experienced heat and humidity when I went to college in the south, but never was it this intense.

When we got to the farm, we quickly put our stuff away and hopped back in the car and headed to the Nang Kruan Waterfall. I cannot tell you how awesome and amazing this felt after the blazing heat we experienced during the day. It was so hot even one of the Thai people I was with got sick.
