Traveling Ted is a blog that takes readers along on my adventures hiking, canoeing, skiing, and international backpacking. Many blogs focus on one aspect of backpacking, but I tackle both the outdoor adventure side and international exploration as well.

Badlands National Park butte

A Badlands National Park butte in the dimming light

In the Badlands National Park it is one butte after another and who is not a fan of a good butte. A great place to visit at anytime of the year, this South Dakota destination is amazing in the winter. The snow gives the crags and buttes an extra dimension. Plus, the traffic along the scenic routes is minimal, so you will seem to have this amazing park to yourself.

The goal of Traveling Ted TV is to inspire people to outdoor adventure travel and then provide tips on where and how to go.
