Traveling Ted is a blog that takes readers along on my adventures hiking, canoeing, skiing, and international backpacking. Many blogs focus on one aspect of backpacking, but I tackle both the outdoor adventure side and international exploration as well.

Canoeing Quetico

Canoeing Lake Kawnipi on the way to the fishing hole

While having Thanksgiving dinner at my Dad’s, he shared with me some pictures he had of our trip to Quetico Provincial Park in Canada. Traveling solo most of the time, I don’t have a lot of in action photos of myself in the wilderness, so I was glad to get this picture from my the old man of me fishing.

In this picture, I am canoeing away from our campsite in Lake Kawnipi, in search of smallmouth bass, walleye, or a northern pike. I caught a couple of northern pike for a wonderful fresh fish dinner.

Stay tuned,
