After several months traveling in Southeast Asia, the heat and humidity really got to me. I was so happy to escape the temperatures on a bus trip up the coast in Vietnam. I bought a ticket in Ho Chi Minh City for a bus ride to Hanoi with stops in Nha Trang and Hué. Once we got to Hué the temperatures cooled and a respite from the oppressive temperatures was a relief. This photo was taken between Hué and Hanoi. One great aspect about the bus trip was the road often followed the ocean with spectacular views like this one.

Thanks Nancie,
I would love to get back there myself.
Aww, I loved Vietnam! I only had time to do HCMC, Mui Ne, and Nha Trang, so I need to go back one of these days. The views from the bus were so beautiful.

I visited HCMC, Nha Trang, Hué, and Hanoi. Stopped in Mui Ne for a couple of hours, and it looked beautiful, but kept moving north.
