This photo was taken at Eco Pond at the Flamingo campground at the Everglades National Park in Florida. There is a half mile walk around the pond and there is always something to see. I have seen rails, black-necked stilts, roseate spoonbills, marsh hawks, and an occasional alligator can be found as well. Check out the map below if directions are needed. This is a great day trip from Miami if you don’t have time to spare to explore the Everglades.
