Parking lots are not the most exciting place. In fact, they may be the exact opposite of adventure and the beautiful outdoors. Unless, the parking lot has a trail attached to it leading to a network of cross-country ski trails, and wintry snow covered pine trees. In this case, parking lots are not so bad. I bet you have never thought about the excitement that a parking lot can bring.
This is the parking lot for the Rib Lake cross-country ski trails just outside the town of Rib Lake near Wausau. Conditions are listed as excellent right now, so park your car and enjoy a day of cross-country skiing in the gorgeous Wisconsin northwoods.
