Traveling Ted is a blog that takes readers along on my adventures hiking, canoeing, skiing, and international backpacking. Many blogs focus on one aspect of backpacking, but I tackle both the outdoor adventure side and international exploration as well.

Cross-country skiing Wisconsin

The snow has finally come to southern Wisconsin, and the author was out bright and early at the Lapham Peak unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Lapham Peak is one of the best cross-country ski trails around. The 7 mile Moraine Ridge Trail is full of ups and downs with colorful names for the hills. More on those great runs in a future post.
