Traveling Ted is a blog that takes readers along on my adventures hiking, canoeing, skiing, and international backpacking. Many blogs focus on one aspect of backpacking, but I tackle both the outdoor adventure side and international exploration as well.

Sharing is caring!

This picture is the idyllic winter scene at a Palmquist Farm cabin near Tomahawk, Wisconsin. We have falling snow in front of a cabin with cross-country skis laid to rest on the stairs of a front porch. On top of the front deck is a fresh pile of split wood. Moving to the window we have an icicle and to the right a bird feeder in front of the window. In the background are tall majestic pines sticking out of a snow covered forest. Robert Frost would have been pleased, as a result, he definitely would have stopped here if he came across it on a snowy night.
