Custer State Park blanketed in snow
Earlier this winter Accuweather.com predicted the worst winter ever in the Chicago area. With temperatures in the 50s yesterday this is looking like a joke and climate change a reality. At least we can still admire snow in other parts of the nation in other years. This photo was taken in the Custer State Park in South Dakota right adjacent to the Black Hills last Thanksgiving.

They said we weren’t getting moisture this winter and we had a really snowy December and more predicted for tomorrow. I call it the weather guess.

Very pretty – haven’t seen that part of the world yet but have cross country skied right past a buffalo in Yellowstone Park – which is a little freaky considering their size. (in reference to your buffalo post.)
