Traveling Ted is a blog that takes readers along on my adventures hiking, canoeing, skiing, and international backpacking. Many blogs focus on one aspect of backpacking, but I tackle both the outdoor adventure side and international exploration as well.

Badlands National Park touch of grey

Badlands National Park showing a little touch of grey

The Badlands National Park is a fantastic place to either take a scenic drive or go backcountry camping. It is amazing how desolate the park is in winter. I virtually had the park to myself on a cold November day. I only shared it with bison, prairie dogs, coyotes, and golden eagles.

I like this picture because like me, the park is showing a little touch of grey.

Stay tuned,
