Richard Bong State Recreation Area is one of my favorite places to spend a day in southern Wisconsin. There are tons of activities to do here from hiking to falconing to even flying your model airplane. They have a spot for just about everything here. The landscape is varied as well with prairie, forest, lakes, and wetlands.
Bong Recreation Area is part of the Wisconsin State Park system. There is a fee system to enjoy all of these parks. For more information on the fees click here.

haha I found this by mistake. Is this place seriously called bong water? x)
The Park is called Richard Bong Recreation Area, but it is just referred to as Bong Recreation Area. This is just a pond in the recreation area, so I called it Bong water 🙂
