Sunset falls over the Guyana Rupunini in South America at Rock View Lodge. The airstrip at Annai is located right here and takes passengers back and forth from Letham, Annai, and Georgetown. For speediness it sure beats the 14 hour ride on the Georgetown-Letham Road.
The Rupunini is a flat arid expanse sparsely populated with mostly Amerindian people. It is not the most beautiful place in Guyana, but it is an interesting place and it is close to Iwokrama Rainforest and the Pakaraima Mountains on the border of Brazil and Venezuela.

Magic Hours .. This is a good capture with some good shades in the sky
Yep, everyone loves a good sunset.
Would be willing to do anything almost to avoid a 14 hour ride!!!

The buses they have now do not have head rests, so they are extremely uncomfortable, although rumor has it they will get bigger A/C buses soon.
Nice sunset/ sky contrasts…
Cheers…
