Cascade Falls inside Cascade Falls State Park in Minnesota
Just south of Grand Marais, Minnesota along scenic Highway 61 the Cascade River makes a violent, splashing, scenic meeting with Lake Superior. Before emptying into Gitchee Gumee, the Cascade River plummets through several canyons, exciting and wowing visitors.
Cascade River State Park is the scene of these series of waterfalls. There is parking lot along Lake Superior on Highway 61 or you can enter the park and hike down to the falls on one of the trails.
