It is always an adventure to see a rainbow whether it is during travels or at home. There is something magical about encountering these prisms of light that harken back to childhood. Just about everyone remembers a camping trip with mom and dad where one of the parents said “look, there is a rainbow.” Even adults get a thrill from seeing them after a rainstorm. This one was taken in the Lower Kickapoo River Valley in southwestern Wisconsin.

Very true, I have a few fond memories of rainbows. Hawaii had the most spectacular I’ve seen, while others have been more sentimental. Great picture!
Yes, I do recall a nice Wisconsin River rainbow from the mat.
This is so spectacular! I have seen a rainbow many times in my life and it never fails to excite me. Every time, I get so excited, go out of home and stare at the rainbow, (honestly, it makes me dream of the golden pot at the rainbow end. LOL!). One of the perfect view I have ever experienced is when I had my vacation in Boracay Island.
