When in a different country, even the mundane everyday things can be an adventure. Normally in your own country a camera would be the last thing you would think to bring on a walk to the store through a park. Transplant yourselves overseas and when you are asked to take a walk to the convenience store the first thing you think of is travel photography. Of course a walk in the park is not as beautiful as this for most people around the world. This shot was taken in a small park in the West Moorings neighborhood in the capital of Port of Spain in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad, which is part of the twin island republic of Trinidad & Tobago.
The goal of Traveling Ted is to inspire people to outdoor adventure travel and then provide tips on where and how to go. One thing I miss the most when I leave Trinidad–THE MOUNTAINS!
Great shot!
