The best way to start a romantic rendezvous in Chicago is to get the right accommodations. Great hotels deals may provide romantic packages, making the stay as affordable and eventful as possible.

Located in downtown Chicago, this 24.5-acre park is home to world-class music, art, and architecture and landscaping. In the winter, couples can enjoy ice-skating at the McCormick Tribute Ice Rink. At warmer times of the year, al fresco dining and live musical performances at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion are available in Millennium Park. This Pavilion is one of the most sophisticated outdoor concert venues in the United States.
Many park activities are free while others require a small fee, such as ice skate rentals for $10.

Couples who want a private, lofty view of Lake Michigan should visit Navy Piers Ferris wheel. The seven-minute trip takes couples 150 feet into the air in one of 40 gondolas that seat up to six people each. Spectacular views of the city and the lake await riders, and the Ferris wheel sparkles at night with thousands of glimmering lights. The rides construction is based on the very first Ferris wheel, which made its debut in 1893 at the Chicago-hosted World’s Fair.
A Ferris wheel ride costs $6 per guest. Round out the romantic ride with a visit to other attractions around Navy Pier, including an indoor garden, shopping and more.

As the tallest building in the western hemisphere, it’s clear that guests on the Sears Tower Sky deck experience the finest view the city has to offer. The Sky deck is located on the 103rdfloor and draws 1.3 million visitors every year.
General admission is $18 for guests ages 12 and up and $12 for children ages 3 to 11.
Spiaggia Restaurant
Fine Italian dining has never been better! With an exceptional menu and a stunning view of Lake Michigan, eating at Spiaggia Restaurant is one of the most romantic things to do in Chicago. It’s the Windy City’s only four-star Italian restaurant with world-class cuisine and a luxurious interior.
Visitors are advised to make a reservation in advance. Dinners are priced at $24 and up.
Horse-Drawn Carriage Tour
Tour downtown the old fashioned way in a horse-drawn carriage! All tours begin and end at the Historic Water Tower on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Chestnut Street. Riders are provided with lap blankets in chilly weather, and the carriage is convertible from top-up to top-down, depending on the weather.
Patrons must make a reservation. A 30-minute ride for up to four people is $40, 45 minutes is $60, and 60 minutes is $100.
