Last week I went for a walk in my neighborhood park here in Chicago: Ronan Park along the North Branch of the Chicago River. It was the first time I had visited this park since February after the Great Chicago Blizzard of 2011.
Contrasting photography during different times of the year of the same place is fascinating. This is especially true when locations are photographed in spring or summer and winter. Here is a photo essay contrasting Ronan Park and River Parks between my trips this past week and immediately after the blizzard when I went there to cross-country ski.
