Ichetucknee River
This week’s travel Tuesday photos of the week come from the Ichetucknee River in Florida. Normally, I like to link something in the news or something seasonal with the photos of the week, but this week since I have no bin Laden or Royal wedding photos I have nothing.

Therefore, when in doubt I am going to turn to the swamps and rivers of Florida. Anytime is a good time to post pictures of Spanish moss hanging from cypress trees. These pictures came from a trip several years ago where we canoed the Ichetucknee River and the Santa Fe Rivers in an area of Florida not often visited due to lack of beaches and theme parks.
These two rivers are located halfway between Gainesville and Tallahassee Florida near the town of Live Oak, Florida. They both flow into the Suwanee River and the three rivers provide some incredible adventure canoeing.

Hi – small but necessary correction. It is the Ichetucknee, not what you wrote. A wonderful natural treasure that deserves special protection.
