Lone buffalo grazing at Custer State Park

A lone buffalo grazing in a snowy field was once a common sight in America. Now it can only be seen in select pockets like Custer State Park, the Badlands, and Yellowstone National Park. Fortunately, if you visit one of these places, you are assured of seeing one of these beautiful creatures if not hundreds. This photo was taken from Wildlife Loop at Custer State Park.

Take a pic of a buffalo is on my To-Do-Go list for a while. Have you had a chance to get a closer shot?

    Memo,

I got a ton of closer shots. I like this one though in the distance in the snowy prairie. I also got some really cool shots with buffalo in the distance in the Badlands National Park.
