Kayaking the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is most widely known for its gorgeous panoramas of beautiful tree covered mountains as far as the eye can see. The park is well known for these views for great reason as there are some sensational overlooks in the park. One aspect of the park not as famous except for those who love to explore it and especially for the kayakers in the area are the gorgeous cascading streams. This photo comes from the Little River. You do not have to be this adventurous though to enjoy a beautiful Great Smoky Mountain stream. They are found everywhere and also create a few picturesque waterfalls inside the park.

I never try kayaking. but some of my friends are really hook into it.Thanks for the info.

Amazing place to visit!! I spend one day at Great Smoky Mountain National Park and was a wonderful experience for me. I enjoyed its natural beauty. Also, it rained sometimes and that added to beauty and becomes the great place for photography. The park is very huge that scientists are still discovering some of the plant and animal species that live there. One of my all time favorite places to visit – I spent a week camping there during the winter a few years ago. The temperatures dropped to the single digits at night….not the best camping experience, but wow – it was just beautiful! I had the park almost all to myself, the perfect travel experience

I had a similar night like that in the Smokies. It was a cold night, but the hike the next day was one of my favorites of all time.
