Traveling Ted is a blog that takes readers along on my adventures hiking, canoeing, skiing, and international backpacking. Many blogs focus on one aspect of backpacking, but I tackle both the outdoor adventure side and international exploration as well.

Walleyes will be running at Nekoosa

Soon the walleyes will be running along the Wisconsin River in Nekoosa

Every year in early April, Nekoosa, Wisconsin holds the annual Walleye Days, which celebrates the spawning of the female walleyes along the Wisconsin River. This year the annual contest, which promotes fishing along the Wisconsin River will be held between March 24 and April 22. You will find Wisconsin Outside along Pointe Basse Avenue on one of these weekends trying their luck.
